Babar and Rizwan’s new world record for most centuries

Karachi: (Newsbreaked) National cricket team captains Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan set a new record for most centuries in T20 Internationals.



Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan shared a sixth-century partnership in the third match against the West Indies, after which the two players set a record for the highest partnership of 100 runs in a T20 International. Babar and Rizwan performed this feat in 27 Twenty20 International innings.



Earlier, India’s Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul had shared five centuries. On the other hand, Pakistan cricket team wicketkeeper Better Muhammad Rizwan set another world record in the third T20 match against West Indies. Muhammad Rizwan became the first batsman to score 2,000 T20 runs in a year. Muhammad Rizwan has scored more than 2,000 runs in 48 T20 matches in 2021.



In addition, Mohammad Rizwan became the player to hit the most number of T20 International sixes in a single year. Muhammad Rizwan hit 42 sixes in 2021 before Martin Guptill of New Zealand had the honor. Kiwi Better has hit 41 sixes in the year 2021 alone.
