Dubai has achieved unique honors in the world, becoming the world’s first paperless government.
According to the details, Dubai became the first paperless government in the world by eliminating the use of paper in all government institutions.
Dubai started eliminating paper in government institutions in 2018, today the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced this via tweet.
In a tweet, Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed vowed that life in Dubai would be fully digital in the next five decades.
He said that the elimination of paper usage would save 1.3 billion dirhams and save 14 million hours for employees.
All services will now be available to Dubai residents through the Dubai Now application, which has 12 categories and 130 smart city services.
Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed said in a tweet that the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to achieve paperless travel for every consumer has been put into practice in the Dubai government.
