Highlighting the importance of relations with Russia, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the steady growth in bilateral relations. He also reiterated his commitment to start work on the “Pakistan Stream” gas pipeline project as soon as possible.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of a political solution to the Afghan conflict and appreciated Russia’s efforts in promoting the Afghan peace process. Prime Minister Imran Khan also invited Russian President Putin to visit Pakistan.
