How to do a hanging indent in Google Docs

To do a hanging indent in Google Docs:

Select the text that you want to format.

Click on the "Line spacing" icon in the toolbar. It looks like a small paragraph symbol.

In the "Paragraph" window that appears, click on the "Indents and Spacing" tab.

Under the "Indentation" section, set the "Special" dropdown to "Hanging".

Use the "By" field to specify the size of the hanging indent. This is  the distance between the left margin and the first line of the  paragraph.

Click "OK" to apply the formatting.

Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + T" to quickly apply a hanging indent to the selected text.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
